New scans preserve the wording read from the bottle, but save the interpreted chemical identity and its concentration, purity, grade, pH, or particle size for inventory search and grouping. Chitosan labels are interpreted as Poly(D-glucosamine), with CAS 9012-76-4 attached to the shared registry entry.
